Humans of High River – Jaden Holle

Meet Jaden Holle of High River.  A dynamic, out-going and community enthusiastic citizen.  She was born & raised in High River and graduated from Notre Dame Collegiate.  Holle is the Chad Besplug Invitational Rodeo Queen (Claresholm) and is competing in the Miss Rodeo Canada contest.  She is headed to Red Deer this week (Oct. 29-Nov. 2, 2018) for the final week of comeptition.  The crown for the title of Miss Rodeo Canada will be handed out on Friday night Nov. 2, 2018 at the Canadian Finals Rodeo.  (We wish our High River girl the best of luck!)

Holle is a huge fan of the sport of rodeo and spent her last year (2017-2018) as one of the Calgary Stampede Princesses.  But her roots run deep in our High River soil.  When asked what she feels most proud of in her life so far, she replied “My Community.  I am so proud of how they (High Riverites) bounded together after the flood.  People overcame adversity and it’s been amazing to see.  What’s cool now, when you google High River you don’t get all these pictures of the flood, but instead great pictures of it’s beauty and the community.”

Some of her favourites things about High River include George Lane Park, Colossi’s, The Train Car (Whistle Stop) and all the little nooks you can find.  We asked Holle if she could help change something in High River, What would it be? She took a long time to respond.  She says “I just love everything about this Town, but I really miss the bowling alley.”
